The Assistant Product Line Manager supports the Product Management team in delivering successful product strategies across the Brown Goods category, which includes TVs, Soundbars, Laser TVs, and Monitors.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Market Analysis: Support market research by analysing industry trends, competitor activity, customer needs, pricing, and market opportunities to provide insights for product planning.
  • Product Planning: Assist Product Line Managers with new product testing, product planning, product launches, product specifications, and go-to-market activities in collaboration with HQ.
  • Pricing & Promotions: Support the development of competitive pricing strategies, promotional activities, and product positioning by working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Planning & Forecasting: Analyse sales performance, inventory levels, and market trends to support demand forecasting, production planning, and stock availability.
  • Performance Analysis: Prepare regular reports on sales, inventory, profitability, market share, and product performance to support business decisions and KPI achievement.
  • Marketing Support: Coordinate with HQ and the UK Marketing team to support the development of product communications, promotional materials, and launch activities.
  • HQ Coordination: Maintain regular communication with HQ on product, logistics, after-sales, and marketing matters, ensuring information is shared accurately and promptly.
  • General Support: Provide administrative and analytical support to the Product Line Managers and undertake any other duties reasonably required by the business.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Engineering or Business related degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience in product management, sales support, commercial operations, or a similar analytical role is desirable.
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken).
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
