You will be part of a diverse team, where you celebrate and support each other’s successes. This challenging and rewarding role is part of our Direct Commercial Insurance team based in York.
What you will be doing:
- Selling commercial insurance to business customers, having great conversations to understand their needs and requirements.
- Identifying opportunities to cross sell and up sell our product line, based on customers' needs.
- Speaking to existing customers and resolving their queries, through both phone and email.
- You will have individual targets, which you are accountable for achieving. These are balanced between sales, quality and customer satisfaction while managing your time.
- You will become an expert in our technical products and our IT systems.
- Participating in weekly team meetings and huddles to discuss problem solving, as well as reviewing your individual and team performance.
- Working with other teams across the contact centre to provide good outcomes for our customers and Hiscox.
Our trainers will spend 3 weeks helping you build your knowledge of our products and systems. The training is varied and includes online and self-learning. After training, you will move into an Academy to further strengthen your skills for another 4 weeks.
