You will focus on servicing the Group level financial control and reporting requirements and form close working relationships with the wider Finance team, as well as the Finance Directors and Controllers across the Hiscox business units.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of high-quality Group consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial, statutory and regulatory reporting deliverables to both internal and external stakeholders in compliance with IFRS and Solvency II regulatory guidance.
- Proactively manage strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Work alongside the Head of Finance Business Applications to implement change in the function.
- Support a continuous improvement culture utilising external insights and best practice.
- Be an active member for the Group Financial Control Team.
Skills/ Qualifications/ Experience required:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
- Good technical and financial reporting knowledge within the financial services sector (preferably the insurance sector).
- Good problem solving skills.
- Strong control mindset and experience.
- Ability to rapidly build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Experience of working with teams to build engagement and morale.
Reporting Relationships/ Interactions:
- Reports to the Head of Finance Business Applications.
- Maintain constructive and supportive professional relationships including the Finance Senior Leadership team.
