Are you a strategic product leader with experience across Finance systems and enterprise technology? At Hiscox, we're looking for a Product Owner – Finance to shape and lead the future of our finance technology landscape.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Core Value Streams, this is a pivotal role within our Group Enterprise Systems (GES) team. You’ll own the roadmap for all business applications within the Finance function – including our core Oracle Finance suite – and drive continuous improvement, resilience, and operational excellence across a complex ecosystem of tools and platforms.

This is a unique opportunity to influence the strategic direction of finance technology within a global insurer and deliver real business value.

🧩 What You’ll Do

• Own and evolve the product roadmap across core finance systems
• Collaborate closely with Finance and IT leadership to align systems with wider business goals
• Ensure stability, scalability, and compliance of all finance applications
• Inspire and guide cross-functional teams (engineering, DevOps, data, service management)
• Manage change across a multi-vendor, multi-system environment
• Deliver value-driven technology outcomes that simplify, protect, and enable the business

What You’ll Bring

• Experience with Oracle ERP or EPM in a product owner, delivery, or change role
• A background in insurance or financial services (esp. reserving, capital modelling, planning)
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder, and programme management skills
• A value-focused mindset – balancing commercial outcomes and technical delivery
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Agile principles and product development in complex environments
