The role involves working within the wider Schemes team to deliver Schemes (Delegated Authorities and MGA) solutions across the UK retail business. You will work across the existing portfolio of Schemes business as well as analysing the impact of new Schemes opportunities. Your responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing data standards relevant for your sector in conjunction with the underwriting and Schemes Leadership team.
- Using various visualisation tools to design and build the reporting suite to monitor performance and portfolio trends.
- Spotting trends in Schemes performance and providing insights and recommendations for strategic changes.
- Assessing new schemes opportunities in collaboration with Delivery Underwriters.
- Supporting innovation and continuous improvement by implementing data, reporting, and process improvements.
- Conducting data analysis to identify trends and recommend corrective actions for profitable growth.
- Working with data and portfolio analyst communities to assess the impact of external datasets.
- Applying knowledge of the regulatory environment to ensure fair treatment of customers.
- Providing independent reviews and recommendations for underwriting on large individual case risks.
- Completing ad hoc data analysis including underwriting referral analysis and making recommendations for improvements.
- Delivering a consistent and accurate suite of reports across various business performance metrics.
