Permanent role within the Trading Operations team across multiple sites covering Art & Private Client and Professions & Specialty Commercial product lines for Direct and Broker customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Motivation – Inspire and energise team members, set clear expectations, provide coaching, recognise achievements, address performance issues promptly.
  • Operational Delivery – Allocate and prioritise workloads to meet service metrics, track performance against targets, maintain quality standards and audit requirements.
  • Customer & Broker Focus – Champion a customer‑centric culture, gather feedback, support issue resolution, continually improve broker and client experience.
  • Continuous Improvement – Identify efficiency opportunities, analyse performance data, encourage new ideas, lead small change initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Relationships – Build strong internal and external relationships, collaborate with other teams, engage proactively with brokers.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven people management experience in a broker, underwriting or contact centre/operations setting.
  • Leadership experience within a target‑driven environment, including performance management and coaching.
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience with performance conversations, quality, productivity and service delivery improvement.
  • Commercial awareness of service levels, operational workflows and customer outcomes.
  • Highly organised, prioritising effectively and overseeing team delivery against SLAs.
  • Collaborative team player, demonstrating drive, resilience and a proactive approach.
