The Role
This position is within the Specialty Claims team, part of the wider Claims function located in London, Colchester, York, and Glasgow. You will collaborate daily with colleagues across these locations. Our team is open, collaborative, customer-focused, and dedicated to delivering outstanding service. The claims service is central to our business.
In this role, you will handle a large portfolio of cyber claims, assisting policyholders affected by cyber attacks, data loss, or regulatory actions. The work is varied and dynamic, with new claims arising daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and manage cyber claims from initial notification to resolution, including recovery efforts.
- Lead cyber breach response cases, working closely with panel solicitors and cyber forensic experts.
- Select, instruct, and manage experts such as IT forensics, cybersecurity consultants, lawyers, and PR specialists.
- Communicate and negotiate with clients, brokers, claimants, and their representatives.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and brokers.
- Maintain regular communication with customers and brokers, demonstrating excellent customer focus.
- Proactively manage a large claims portfolio.
- Collaborate with underwriters to secure and retain business and develop insurance products.
- Assist in improving our Claims operation in line with the Claims 2020 strategy by identifying opportunities and developing solutions.
