The Lead Solution Architect is responsible for designing and delivering practical, scalable, and secure technology solutions that meet business needs within the London Market. This role bridges the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring solutions are aligned with architectural principles and Group Technology standards.
You will work closely with development squads, product owners, and technical leads to translate architectural blueprints into actionable designs, supporting delivery teams throughout the lifecycle. The role requires strong technical expertise, collaboration skills, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate architectural blueprints and roadmaps into detailed solution designs.
- Ensure solutions are fit for purpose, scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.

- Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

- Liaise with Group Technology and vendors to ensure solutions meet compliance and interoperability standards.
Governance & Quality Assurance

- Support risk identification and mitigation during solution delivery.

- Proven experience in solution architecture within insurance or financial services.
