We are looking for a Business Development Manager to support our growth and exciting new challenges in the London and South-East area.
Purpose of Position
To advise on and drive the implementation of agreed business development growth strategies and plans that reinforces, supports and drives the profitable development of the Security global business. To engage with and develop new customers and channel partners according to the agreed strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an effective business development plan.
- Develop major account business, from new business acquirement to existing client retention and growth.
- Evaluate new market opportunities.
- Manage client and channel expectations.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key industry influencers.
- Work with the internal sales and support team to compile Tender Responses – including compliance statements and BOQ.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and promote a favorable image of the Company.
- Accurately forecast budget revenues, margins and expenses and clearly identify risks.

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Tertiary Qualification in business and/or a commercial engineering or marketing related field.
- 5+ years’ business development / sales experience particularly in a B2B international/export IT / business systems / security systems environment.
Place of Work
Hybrid working arrangement – one day per week working from home. Regular travel and overnight stays will be required, including attendance at customer sites and meetings.
Hours of Work
40 hours per week (8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break).
