We are looking for a Channel Sales Manager for the North of UK area, to support our strategic growth and exciting new challenges.

Purpose of Position

Provide solutions tailored to customers' needs, develop new prospects and build customer retention. Develop a sales territory and key accounts in line with sales targets and assigned KPI objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive quotations and increase sales of the Gardis product range through the UK security distribution network.
  • Proactively manage and maintain relationships with Security Installation Companies and key personnel within the designated territory, ensuring all customer information is kept up to date within the company CRM system.
  • Review Access Control and Integrated Systems tenders from end users, systems integrators, and Platinum and Gold Channel Partners across the UK.
  • Work closely with the internal sales and support teams to compile tender responses, including compliance statements and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Gardis product portfolio.
  • Achieve sales targets through the successful sale of Hirsch products within the defined territory.
  • Liaise directly with end users where required.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction with Hirsch and promote a positive image of the Company.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential Requirements

  • Proven direct sales experience.
  • Experience preparing and responding to tenders.
  • Experience in the design, setup, and use of Access Control systems.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office, and database systems.
  • Proactive, self‑motivated, and autonomous individual with a positive “can‑do” attitude and strong team‑player mentality.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Practical knowledge of Network Infrastructure.
  • Experience selling hardware and software products.
  • Sales experience within the security industry.

Place of Work

Hybrid working arrangement – one day per week working from home. Regular travel and overnight stays will be required, including attendance at customer sites and meetings.

Hours of Work

40 hours per week (8.30am to 5.00pm from Monday to Friday – 30 min lunch break).
