Location: Ely
Salary: £26,835 to £29,093 per annum
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4.00pm and Friday 8:00am – 3.30pm

Grounds Maintenance Operative – The Role:
To help the Council meet the high expectations of our residents and continue the delivery of an excellent service to the public, our prestigious contracts, we are now looking to appoint a Grounds Maintenance Operative.
Working as part of the Council’s Parks and Open Spaces team, you will assist with the completion of the ground’s maintenance programme.
Due to the nature of the role we need some flexibility in regards to the working patterns.
The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4.00pm and Friday 8:00am to 3.30pm
Grounds Maintenance Operative – You:
– You will ideally have a background in Grounds Maintenance or any other similar vocation and be conversant with the use of commercial equipment, although this is not essential as training will be given to the right candidate
– You will need to hold a full driving license, and have the capacity to fulfil the duties associated with the role
– We are looking for team players who are able to complete tasks without constant supervision, have an eye for detail, and be able to manage your time accordingly
