Role Summary
We are recruiting a reliable and hardworking Labourer Driver to join our operations team in Skelmersdale. The role involves general labouring duties and driving responsibilities and requires a strong commitment to health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing, tidying, and setting up work areas.
- Load, unload, move, and transport materials and equipment.
- Assist skilled tradespeople by providing tools, handling materials, and supporting tasks as required.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and site rules at all times.
- Carry out manual handling tasks safely and responsibly.
- Support the smooth day‑to‑day operation of sites as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Full UK driving licence, clean, held for a minimum of 2 years.
- Manual Handling training or willingness to complete.
- At least 1 year’s experience in a general labouring or construction environment.
- Strong health and safety awareness.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety‑conscious attitude.
Desirable
- Knowledge of construction materials and tools.
- Previous experience working with skilled trades.
