Job Description: Quality Engineer (Permanent) Location: Whetstone, Leicestershire Salary: Starting from £50K per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join our Technical Operations team. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving product quality, reducing defects and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), and driving continuous improvement across our manufacturing processes. Working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, suppliers and customers, you will lead problem-solving activities and support the successful introduction of new and revised products. Key Responsibilities Lead 8D, root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions to resolve quality issues. Monitor and improve Yield, COPQ and customer returns . Lead daily reject reviews and drive effective containment and corrective action. Manage APQP, FMEA, Control Plans and First Article Inspection (FAI) activities.
