in Hinckley. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy manufacturing environment on a temporary basis. We are looking for a skilled welder who can produce high-quality work while following engineering drawings, specifications, and safety procedures. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Carry out
MIG and TIG welding
on a variety of metal components. Weld materials including steel, stainless steel, aluminium and other metals as required. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and welding symbols. Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently. Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, cleaning and fitting components. Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy. Identify and correct welding defects where required. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Follow all company health and safety procedures. Complete work to required deadlines and quality standards. Carry out routine checks and basic maintenance of welding equipment. Requirements Previous experience as a
MIG/TIG Welder
or similar welding role. Strong MIG welding skills with
TIG welding experience essential . Ability to read and understand technical drawings. Good understanding of welding processes and health & safety procedures. Excellent attention to detail and quality standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, punctual and hardworking. Benefits £20.00 - £23.00 per hour depending on experience. Temporary 3-month assignment. Monday to Friday working hours. On-site parking. Opportunity to gain further manufacturing experience.
