The Alcohol & Drug Service (ADS) are a registered charity who have been transforming the lives of people affected by drugs and alcohol misuse for over 40 years.
East Riding Partnership (ERP)– is a partnership between ADS and Humber Teaching NHS trust.It has three hubs, Hull, Bridlington and Goole.It is multi-disciplinary team led by a consultant and provides treatment services in the community.The services include aftercare, young people, community rehabilitation programme, a specialist supporting image and performing enhancing drugs/steroids and a team supporting service users and cares through a team of volunteers and peer mentors.
It is a very exciting time to be working in the drug and alcohol field, with significant new career opportunities being created.
Working as part of the central hub team the Intensive Engagement Worker will provide advice and support to individuals admitted to hospital.The successful candidate will engage and support individuals by conducting an initial assessment of risk and need for care planned treatment.
If you have relevant experience in the substance misuse field and have a L3 Substance Misuse qualification or equivalent, we would like to hear from you.
If you are experienced by working in the field but do not have the formal qualifications, we provide a comprehensive package of accredited qualifications and for newly qualified Social Workers we support the ASYE programme.
PLEASE NOTE:The successful candidate must, by the commencement of employment, have the right to work in the UK.
