We’re looking for a driven web developer who’s passionate about changing the world through code.
At Humble, we build brilliant software that maximises the impact our clients' make. Our goal is to create opportunities for everyone to fulfil their potential, including you.
To help you achieve this, we're expanding our small but mighty team.
If you thrive in dynamic and fast-paced environments, this is the role for you.
We have an exciting journey ahead of us and we'd love to take you for the ride.
As a Saa S developer, you'll work across all of our products to implement new features and fix bugs. This will involve both front-end and back-end development.
Your manager will assign projects/tasks to you and will work with you to agree on the best implementation, but we'll actively seek your expertise and opinions when developing our roadmaps, overcoming challenges and thinking of new ideas.
For the most part, this isn't a customer facing role.
However, we might ask you to respond to support tickets from time to time, so the ability to clearly, professionally and effectively communicate is important.
The role
- 36 hours/week, with core hours 10am-2pm Mon-Fri. Outside of those hours, you can work at the best time for you.
- Hybrid - our Grimsby office + remote (we’d like you to work at the office at least 2 days per week)
- Reporting to our Directors
- Up to £35,000 annual salary
- Technical Responsibilities
- To develop new functionality for our Saa S products in line with specifications supplied by Directors, using only
- technologies approved by your manager.
- To use your judgement and experience to code as efficiently as possible.
- To fix any bugs reported within our Saa S products.
- To test any code thoroughly before it reaches the Internal Review stage.
- To notify your line manager of any possible delays that could prevent you from meeting internal deadlines.
- To ensure the codebase remains clean and well documented.
- To minimise and discuss the risk of technical debt.
- To optimise code for performance and scalability.
