East Bilney Coachworks Ltd is an award winning, family-owned business operating out of Eight specialist accident repair centres, employing around 190 people across Norfolk.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Parts Advisorto be based at the Partsdept within our Gt Yarmouth branch.

As we are a small hands-on team at Gt Yarmouth, the role requires a flexible approach, we are recruiting for someone who is also prepared to provide help or cover when required within other areas of the business as well, including Reception and Occasional Driving.

This full-time role isfrom 08:00to 17:30 on a Monday to Friday with a 30-minute (unpaid) break for lunch, plus alternate Saturday mornings from 08:00 to 12:00.

The starting Salary for this role is £31,500 per annum.

Experience

  • Applicants must have experience of similar work, although thiscould bestores, goods in / outorpartsassistant.
  • Aworking knowledge of cars / light vans and their component parts is essential.
  • You must be confident to deal professionally with both colleagues and suppliers in person, by telephone and by e-mail.
  • The company use a number of differentsoftware systems and whilst training will be provided, you must have good experience of using computers, along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Applicants must be logical with an eye for detail, be methodical and organised, have a great telephone manner and a full clean driving licence (minor endorsements accepted).
  • You will need to be physically able to lift parts and accessories from the floor onto racking or into storage containers.

Responsibilities

  • Within this role, you will be ordering parts for many different makes and models of accident damaged vehicles from a variety of sources.
  • The work includes progress chasing, checking in, recording, booking onto jobs, storing and issuing parts, panels and consumables.
  • You must be prepared to help other area of the business when required, including Reception and Occasional Driving.
