Are you a Field Service Engineer looking for a specialist role where you can work on high-quality OEM equipment, support customers in highly regulated environments, and continue developing your technical skills? Rockson First is looking for a Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair laboratory water purification systems for customers across the life sciences and pharmaceutical sectors. This is a hands‑on service role where you will be trusted to manage your own workload, work independently in the field, and receive the training and support needed to become confident with our specialist equipment and digitally connected systems.

Your responsibilities:

  • Servicing, maintaining and repairing lab water purification systems.
  • Diagnosing faults, identifying issues and carrying out repairs.
  • Ordering and replacing parts when required.
  • Managing your own car stock to support a strong first‑time fix rate.
  • Updating service activity accurately using ServiceMax CRM.
  • Following company procedures, SOPs and EHS requirements.
  • Supporting customers in regulated environments, including pharmaceutical and life sciences sites.
  • Advising customers on system use, servicing and compliance requirements.
  • Liaising with colleagues and management to ensure customers receive a high standard of service.
  • Promoting relevant service activities, products and solutions where appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • An HNC or above in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience servicing, maintaining or repairing technical equipment.
  • Good fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
  • Confidence working independently in the field.
  • Strong customer communication skills.
  • The ability to follow procedures in regulated environments.
  • A willingness to learn digitally connected systems.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.

Experience with laboratory water purification systems would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
