An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Engineering Manager to join our Engineering team at Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council. As Engineering Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing key infrastructure projects, managing budgets, and leading a team to deliver high-quality engineering solutions across the borough.

Key Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of activities and budgets within the Engineering team.
- You will be expected to manage and develop a number of projects relating to car parking, drainage and management of Council land, whilst assisting the Head of Technical Services on matters relating to flooding and liaising with the Environmental Agency and Kent County Council.
- The post will oversee the management of Council bridges, Winter Maintenance and drainage inspection regime as well as overseeing the Electric Vehicle Charge Point Contract for chargers located in Council carparks.
The post is based at the Council’s offices in Kings Hill, West Malling, with options to work remotely. The postholder will also be required to travel around the borough as part of their role.

- Salary: £48,273 – £51,027 + Essential Car User Allowance (up to £1,239 per annum)
- Contract: Permanent
