Perimeter Solutions are an established commercial fencing contractor delivering high-quality security fencing solutions across the Education, Industrial and High Security sectors. Our projects range from large-scale school developments to new build industrial estates and high-security installations such as data centres and utilities.

We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in construction-related fencing (not domestic/residential) to join our team.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and commercially sound tenders for projects within:

  • Education sector (schools, academies, universities)
  • Industrial sector
  • Security-sensitive environments

You will be pricing works for both principal contractors and direct end-user clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing tender documents, drawings, and specifications
  • Preparing detailed take-offs utilising Bluebeam software
  • Producing competitive and profitable tenders
  • Developing relationships with our clients - both existing and new
  • Attending site visits and pre-tender meetings where required
  • Managing multiple tenders simultaneously to meet deadlines

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Estimator within commercial construction
  • Specific experience in construction fencing (Palisade, Mesh, Acoustic fencing systems, etc.)
  • Experience pricing projects in Education, Industrial and Security sectors
  • Strong understanding of pricing for principal contractors and end users
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
