We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Cleaning Team Supervisor to lead our cleaning operations across industrial warehouse sites at AG-13. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial cleaning, leadership experience, and the ability to work flexibly across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate a team of up to 20 cleaning operatives
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and compliance with health & safety procedures
- Monitor and report daily progress using Excel and other basic reporting tools
- Communicate with clients via email regarding updates, additional works, and site needs
- Operate and oversee use of industrial cleaning equipment (scrubbers, vacuums, etc.)
- Complete documentation such as task sheets, incident reports, and quality checklists
- Be available to travel and stay overnight in hotels when required
- Manage cleaning schedules, delegate tasks, and ensure deadlines are met
Requirements:
- Proven experience supervising cleaning teams in an industrial or warehouse environment
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Ability to work long shifts (12 hours) and 6-day weeks during busy periods
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and email for communication and tracking
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel/stay overnight for projects
- Good understanding of cleaning safety standards (COSHH, PPE use)
- Right to work in the UK
