AW Safety is growing quickly, and we need a driven, people-focused new-business hunter to help lead that growth.

You’ll be the face of our Compliance Partner offering, covering Health & Safety, HR, Training, Occupational Health and more.

Your focus will be firmly on winning new clients: identifying opportunities, opening doors and building relationships with business owners, Directors and Managing Directors.

This is not an account management role.

You’ll need to enjoy prospecting, creating your own pipeline and turning first conversations into long-term client partnerships.

If you enjoy the chase as much as the win, you’ll feel at home here.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Hunting for new business through telephone outreach, Linked In, networking and referrals.
  • Creating your own opportunities rather than waiting for leads to arrive.
  • Converting qualified inbound leads with energy, pace and professionalism.
  • Building rapport with business owners, Managing Directors and senior decision-makers.
  • Running discovery conversations to uncover genuine needs and commercial opportunities.
  • Positioning AW Safety as a full Compliance Partner rather than a single-service supplier.
  • Identifying opportunities to introduce relevant additional services.
  • Owning and managing your pipeline accurately through Hub Spot.
  • Negotiating and closing new business within agreed pricing parameters.
  • Providing a clear handover once a new client has been secured, allowing you to focus on the next opportunity.
  • What Success Looks Like
  • Generating £500,000 or more in new client revenue each year.
  • Maintaining pipeline coverage of approximately four times your annual target.
  • Consistently achieving agreed sales and activity targets.
  • Building a strong portfolio of new clients who choose to work with AW Safety because of the relationships you have developed.
  • You’ll Thrive Here If You Are
  • A genuine new-business hunter who enjoys prospecting and opening doors.
  • A confident communicator who builds credibility and trust quickly.
  • Competitive and motivated by targets, recognition and uncapped earning potential.
  • Resilient and persistent without taking an overly aggressive approach.
  • Curious, commercially aware and able to ask insightful questions.
  • Comfortable working independently and at pace.
  • Organised and confident managing a structured sales pipeline.
  • Motivated by winning new clients rather than managing existing accounts.

Experience We’re Looking For

  • Proven success in B2B new-business sales.
  • Confidence generating opportunities through outbound prospecting.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding commercial targets.
  • Experience managing a structured sales pipeline.
  • The ability to communicate credibly with business owners and senior decision-makers.
  • Experience in services, consultancy, compliance, HR or B2B solution selling would be advantageous, but is not essential.
