Burton Albion Football Club is seeking an experienced and passionate

Safeguarding and EDI Lead to champion safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion across the Club.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead the Club's safeguarding provision, ensuring compliance with EFL and FA standards, managing safeguarding concerns and referrals, delivering training, and driving continuous improvement.

You will also take the lead on all Equality, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, embedding best practice and creating an inclusive environment for players, staff, volunteers and supporters.

The ideal candidate will have

  • Experience in safeguarding, child and/or adult protection, and case management.
  • Knowledge and experience of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
  • Strong communication, training and policy development skills.
  • The ability to work both strategically and operationally.
  • Experience within football, sport, education or a comparable environment.
