What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years in HR generalist/manager roles, ideally in a fast-growing SME.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience managing recruitment, ER cases, and performance processes end-to-end.
- CIPD Level 5/7 or equivalent preferred, but practical experience matters more.
- Comfortable working hands-on in systems, spreadsheets, and HRIS tools.

About the role:
As HR Manager, you’ll own day-to-day HR operations for our UK team and act as the first point of contact for managers and staff across other locations. You’ll make sure policies are clear, processes run smoothly, and our culture stays high-trust and high-accountability. You’ll handle recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, payroll coordination, and policy updates. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building systems, solving problems, and working directly with leadership and staff.
What you’ll do:
- Manage end-to-end HR operations for UK employees, including contracts, payroll liaison, onboarding/offboarding.
- Support country managers with HR queries and ensure consistent application of policies.
- Lead recruitment and onboarding for UK roles and support hiring in other regions.
- Manage employee relations, performance processes, and engagement initiatives.
- Maintain HR records, policies, and compliance with UK employment law.
- Work with the CEO to roll out people initiatives and track basic HR metrics.
- Coordinate with external providers for benefits, payroll, and compliance support.
