SJ Eastern Carpentry & Joinery is a leading specialist in high-end bespoke carpentry and joinery, delivering exceptional fit-out projects across London, Cambridge and the surrounding areas.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for highly skilled 2nd Fix Carpenters & Joiners to join our team on exciting new projects in Cambridge.

You’ll be working on prestigious developments installing:

  • Premium timber doorsets
  • Bespoke oak wall panelling
  • Ribbed timber wall systems
  • High-end reception area joinery
  • Other bespoke architectural joinery packages

Your Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional standards of workmanship and finish.

Interpret and work accurately from technical drawings.

Install bespoke joinery to programme while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Work safely, professionally and collaboratively on site.

Maintain a clean and organised working environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • CSCS Skilled Worker Card (essential)
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery
  • Proven experience in high-quality 2nd fix carpentry and bespoke joinery
  • Own hand tools and 110V or cordless power tools (including pin gun, track saw and laser level)
  • CIS registered
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail
