We are interested in a candidate with both electrical and mechanical experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and develop the engineering team, ensuring resource alignment, effective delegation, and delivery of business-aligned KPIs.
- Maintain all plant, equipment, and systems to legislative standards, resolving performance or safety issues promptly and efficiently.
- Implement preventative maintenance systems, cost-effective stores, and risk assessments in collaboration with the Health and Safety Officer.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, health and safety regulations, and promote best practices and new technologies.
- Complete required documentation, minimise waste, and support continuous improvement while ensuring safe, hygienic, and efficient operations.
- Member of site's Food Safety, HACCP, TACCP and VACCP team.
The ideal candidate is able to demonstrate 2 to 4 years minimum as an engineer within food & beverage or similar industries.
