About the company: Our customer is building the financial layer of Solana, with a large suite of products including lending, liquidity vaults, and automated leverage. Today, it is the largest non-staking DeFi protocol on Solana, with over $2B in TVL. As a product, it’s constantly evolving as it explores new avenues for growth and relentlessly optimizes existing products to provide our users with delightful UX. About the role: We are looking for an experienced Head of Product Design to join the customer’s team and lead their product UX/UI. In this role, you will collaborate with the co-founders, Head of Product, and front-end developers to enhance the UX and visual aesthetics. As a key part of the product team, you will contribute to exploring new product directions via wireframes and prototypes. In this role, you’ll: Own the end-to-end design process, from ideation and prototyping to user testing and final implementation. Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and other teams to design best-in-class user experiences. Perform user research, use insights to develop the right product strategy, and iterate on designs. Create marketing materials that match the brand and product design, and distill products into easy-to-understand visuals. As Product Design Lead, you’ll stay up to date with the latest product developments in DeFi. About you: 5+ years of experience in product design of highly complex systems, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and the impact of your work An understanding of DeFi and Lending platforms (if you’re a DeFi user, all the better) Proficiency in product analytics tools such as Mixpanel and Hotjar Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail, typefaces, color, and layout. Experience working on complex financial applications is a strong plus.
