We are recruiting a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner for a successful firm that has seen strong growth over the last five years. Founded by a group of highly regarded directors who previously held senior roles in leading insolvency firms, the business has built a solid foundation, drawing on a wealth of experience and a strong referral network. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Insolvency Practitioner to join at a senior level, with the potential for shareholding depending on the agreed package.
The firm operates exclusively in the corporate insolvency space and is known for delivering clear, practical solutions to distressed businesses. They are now looking for an IP to take formal appointments, help win new work, and contribute to the next phase of their growth.
This role will be based at one of their sites across Greater Manchester, Liverpool and Glasgow.

The Opportunity for the Insolvency Practitioner:
This is a great role for an Insolvency Practitioner who wants to take appointments, win work, and help lead a successful and growing firm. You ll have the support of experienced directors and the opportunity to work towards a shareholding position over time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as a licensed insolvency practitioner on a wide range of corporate insolvency cases including CVLs, MVLs, Administrations, and CVAs.
- Managing and progressing cases from start to closure in line with regulatory requirements.
- Helping to develop and grow the firm s client base through business development and referral relationships.
- Working with the leadership team on the future direction of the firm.
- Leading and mentoring junior staff where appropriate.
What We re Looking For:
- Licensed Insolvency Practitioner with appointment-taking status.
- Strong track record in corporate insolvency.
- JIEB-qualified; ACA/ACCA preferred but not essential.
- Evidence of billing performance over the last four years, including an understanding of how much work has been self-generated.
- Commercial mindset with an interest in developing new work.
- Clear communicator and team player.
