This is a prime opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to play a pivotal role in overseeing statutory accounts within a dynamic, close-knit team that operates across the UK and Europe. The position is based in Leicester City Centre in newly refurbished offices, offering a hybrid working arrangement. The Finance Director Opportunity Our client is a well-established supplier of IT and computing solutions known for their innovative approach and commitment to reliability. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will take ownership of statutory financial reporting and ensure compliance with UK and international financial standards. Key Responsibilities of the Finance Director Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts in compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for multiple UK and European entities. Manage relationships with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance. Provide technical expertise on complex accounting matters and advise on regulatory updates. Collaborate with the Head of Finance to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Lead initiatives to enhance financial controls and streamline reporting processes. Offer mentorship and guidance to junior finance team members where required. The Ideal Candidate for the Finance Director Role Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) with extensive experience in statutory accounting. Previous experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within IT, technology, or a related sector. Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory frameworks. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams. Highly organised and capable of managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Immediate availability or able to start by the end of January. The Package for the Finance Director Role Competitive pro rata salary of £80,000 – £110,000 (dependent on experience). Hybrid working model: 2-3 days onsite and 2-3 days remote (with flexibility to work onsite full-time if preferred).
