Owns the design, governance, and delivery of pricing and rate configuration across Opera Cloud and connected systems. Acts as the bridge between Commercial strategy and technical implementation, ensuring scalable, accurate, and compliant pricing operations across all channels and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pricing & Rate Strategy
- Define and govern rate codes, pricing structures, packages, and promotions
- Ensure alignment between commercial requirements and system capabilities
- Validate pricing requests before implementation
- Assess incoming pricing initiatives and change requests
- Perform impact analysis across systems (Opera, ATE, Data Platform, Channels)
- Translate business requirements into technical design and configuration approach
- Own standards and governance for rate and package configuration
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across environments
- Prevent mis-configurations impacting downstream systems
- Drive automation of bulk updates (scripts, tooling)
- Identify and remove manual bottlenecks
- Improve BAU processes to support scalability
- Testing & Environments
- Ensure UAT environments are prepared for pricing changes
- Define and support end-to-end testing requirements
- Work with QA, Data, and Engineering teams to validate outputs
- Integration & Data Dependencies
- Manage dependencies across:
- Opera Cloud
- Pricing engines (ATE)
- Reporting systems (OHRA)
- Data Platform
- External channels (OTA, Meta)
- Ensure pricing consistency across all integrated systems
- Stakeholder Management
- Engage with:
- Commercial and Trading teams
- Product and Engineering teams
- External vendors (e.g., Oracle)
- Lead discussions on design decisions and trade-offs
- Risk, Incident & Data Integrity
- Monitor pricing accuracy and system behaviour
- Support incident investigation and root cause analysis
- Drive improvements to reduce recurrence of issues
