Your Impact
As the Engineering Manager for the Platform Team, you will lead and oversee a high-performing team responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise-grade SaaS products. You will ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality software solutions by managing project requirements, delegating tasks, and fostering technical excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Project Leadership: Determine project requirements, develop work schedules, and delegate tasks to meet project goals.
- Team Management: Lead a team of engineers, ensuring the highest standards in product delivery and facilitating cross-team communication.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a bridge between technical teams and various stakeholders, including management, product managers, and product designers.
- Reporting & Risk: Prepare progress reports, deliver presentations to relevant stakeholders, and identify risks to develop contingency plans as needed.
Who You Are
- Experience: 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
- Sector Expertise: Experience in SaaS environments and familiarity with cloud-based technologies and architectures.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and scale a diverse team of engineers with strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Java, C#, or Python in an enterprise environment. Skills in API and Data Model Design, including how to scale out, make highly available, and map to storage systems. Understanding of how to design and develop from a security perspective.
- Project Management: Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Experience with Federated GraphQL, Kafka, or other event-driven architectures.
- Experience with Protobuf and gRPC for defining service interfaces and efficiently serializing structured data.

- Experience using Feature or Release Toggles as a code branching strategy.
- Experience selecting and extending third-party components (commercial or open-source) that provide operational leverage.
