Duration: 4 months

Pay Rate: Up to $23.00/hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Some days may run longer; overtime as required. No weekends.)

Job Summary: This role supports the delivery, assembly, and installation of commercial restaurant equipment. The Technician works alongside drivers and installation teams to ensure equipment is safely delivered, properly assembled, and positioned according to layout plans while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with delivery and installation of restaurant equipment
  • Load equipment onto delivery trucks with warehouse staff
  • Uncrate, assemble, and position equipment on-site per manufacturer guidelines
  • Read and interpret layout drawings, floor plans, and documentation
  • Prepare equipment for utility connections
  • Communicate with project managers regarding schedules and updates
  • Inspect equipment for damage during delivery and installation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Document delivery and installation details
  • Provide professional customer service at job sites

Required Skills:

  • Experience with equipment delivery or installation preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools
  • Ability to read blueprints and layout drawings
  • Ability to lift 50–100 lbs with assistance
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • Valid driver’s license required (CDL not required; Class B CDL is a plus)

Tools/Environment: Combination of warehouse, driving, and onsite installation work. Frequent physical activity including lifting, pushing, and maneuvering equipment.
