Job Title: Supply & Inventory Planning Manager

Location: Filton, Bristol (Hybrid schedule, 3 days onsite weekly)

Job Type: Fulltime

Job Description:

  • Manage Supply Planning team- team KPls, team development
  • Generate/manage Supply Plans for Key Vendors
  • Lead and present the monthly Supply Plan as part of the Global S&OP Process
  • Maintain and Manage Supply, Inventory, and Production reports in alignment with KPIs. Ensure each member of the team is responsible and owns KPIs:
  • Order fill rate
  • Inventory Health
  • Write-off % of COG
  • Intercompany Purchase Forecast Accuracy and Bias
  • Excess/obsolete inventory
  • Inventory Turn & Value
  • Analyze and propose Inventory policy.
  • Collate regional inventory reports and KPIs to create a Global consolidated view.
  • Make recommendations and initiate change to support business growth and ensure business needs are met.
  • Owns day-to-day Vendor relationships.
  • Annual price negotiations.
  • Manage inventory write-off process
  • Review MOQ and production volumes
  • Supply plan for gifting – where do we pack Christmas UK, APAC, US? Analyze costs and transport optimization for efficiency.
  • Manage, provide commentary, and minimize cost variances each month.
  • Manage invoice query resolution.
  • Safety stock analysis

Responsibilities:

  • Qualifications, Experience, Specific Skills/Competencies Managing a small team
  • Previous Planning, Forecasting, and Inventory Management experience is essential.
  • Knowledge and Understanding of Supply Chain.
  • Good level and standard of UK/European education or equivalent. Educated to Degree level or similar level of work experience. Previous Planning and Purchasing experience is essential. Experience within an FMCG organization is preferred.
  • Ability to take a proactive approach to challenge and achieve results. Experience in using Microsoft Dynamic 365 ERP system or similar. Experience in Power BI, Tableau and/or SQL reporting.
  • Keen attention to detail
