HireStakes is currently hiring for an Account Manager based remotely in Europe for a leading Payment Provider.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of Forex and iGaming merchants
- Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day account needs and escalations
- Support merchant onboarding, integration, and ongoing optimization
- Monitor transaction performance, approval rates, chargebacks, and risk metrics
- Collaborate with internal teams (Risk, Compliance, Operations, Tech, Sales) to resolve issues efficiently
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across payment products and regions
- Conduct regular account reviews and provide data-driven insights to merchants
- Stay up to date with industry regulations, scheme rules, and market trends
Requirements
- 2–5+ years of experience as an Account Manager or similar role within Payments, PSPs, or Fintech
- Strong experience with Forex and/or iGaming merchants (mandatory)
- Solid understanding of card acquiring & alternative payment methods
- Experience working with EU-based merchants and regulations
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working remotely with cross-functional international teams
- Fluent in English (additional EU languages are a plus)
- Experience working with high-risk acquiring banks or multiple PSPs
- Knowledge of AML/KYC processes
- Familiarity with CRM tools and payment dashboards
- Previous experience in a scale-up or fast-growing fintech environment
