Life Science Hires is the life sciences division of Hires Group, a fast-growing recruitment business doing things differently: more listening, less pressure. We've doubled in size every year since launching in 2024, and we're now looking for a proactive, bilingual associate to help grow our presence in the French market.
This is a varied Business Development Associate role that combines lead generation, marketing and recruitment support. You'll help shape how we reach new clients, create content in both languages, and work closely with our recruitment team as we build our RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) offering. No recruitment experience needed. We'll teach you everything.
What you'll be doing
- Researching the French life sciences market and identifying new business opportunities, especially for our RPO projects
- Reaching out to Talent Acquisition, HR leaders and CEOs at life sciences companies to book discovery calls
- Creating LinkedIn posts, brochures, job adverts and other marketing content in French and English to build our brand visibility
- Coordinating interviews between candidates and clients, and booking pre-closing calls with our consultants
- Keeping our CRM accurate and up to date
- Over time, searching for suitable candidates for live roles and booking them in for calls

Who we're looking for
- Fluent in French and English, written and spoken
- Proactive, full of ideas and comfortable taking the initiative
- Ideally some experience in lead generation, marketing, communications or a similar role, and confident using LinkedIn
- Alternatively, some experience in the life sciences industry and an understanding of how it works
- A real interest in learning about life sciences
Where you can go
As you grow, you'll have the option to move into an Account Manager role, focused on building and managing client relationships, or into recruitment, with full training to become an RPO Recruiter. We see every hire as a potential future business leader, and each person has a clear career path mapped out based on where they want to go.
