The predicted salary is between 24000 - 30000 € per year.

The role involves deputy type responsibilities when the manager/deputy is not present. You will be responsible for the running of a room/age group within the nursery, planning for the room/age group (with support from staff), tracking the assessment of the children, dealing with issues that may arise, passing on information from the manager, and ensuring the routines and expectations are carried out.

You will work closely with the manager and other room leaders, interact, supervise, and keep the children safe and happy, as well as supporting the nursery team in the day-to-day running of the nursery. You will have a key worker group with responsibility for their learning and assessments, including learning journey books and next steps, as well as supporting all other children in the nursery.

Adhere to the policies and procedures at Little Chiefs Day Nurseries and work within the Child Protection Act, all health and safety legislation, and within the guidelines of Ofsted and National Standards. You will work as part of a team and support members of staff and children in the nursery, including supporting cleaning/daily chores. You will share the responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all the children and manage a team.
