Hours
- Full-time role, working any 5 days out of 7
- Chilled: 6am to 2pm & 1pm to 9pm
- Ambient: 6am to 2pm & 2pm to 10pm & 10pm-6am
- Produce: 1pm to 9pm
- Applicants must be fully flexible and available to work 5 out of 7 days, including weekends
The role of Warehouse Operative - Chilled:
- Voice picking using LLOPs in an ambient environment
- Picking and packing cages and pallets in a chilled environment
- Ensuring all picking is completed to the required standards
- Using MHE and other Warehouse duties as required
- Work to meet customer performance standards
- Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures
- Perform other general warehouse duties as required
- Have a key role in supporting store colleagues by making sure orders are assembled correctly
- Picking, stacking and manually handling stock items
- Maintain a clear and tidy warehouse and ensure any potential hazards are dealt with safely, quickly and efficiently
- Make sure stock is received, stored, packed and transported according to the highest standards
- Take responsibility for your own and others' safety whilst at work
- Work both independently and as part of a team
The ideal Warehouse Operative - Chilled:
- Able to work to meet customer performance standards
- Able to adhere to health and safety policies and procedures
- Comfortable with physically demanding work involving manual handling, twisting and turning
- Able to carry out heavy lifting of up to 25kg
- Full availability - this position is not compatible with restricted availability
- LLOP experience required for Ambient
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
