Hours:
- 42 hours per week on average
- Days, nights, and weekends depending on coverage needs
The role of Area Security Officer:
- Patrolling the site
- Gatehouse duties
- Access and egress control
- Monitoring of visitors, staff, and customers to the sites
- Responding to security breaches and medical incidents
- Ensuring all customer standards are met on each site
- CCTV monitoring
The ideal Area Security Officer:
- Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor) required
- Full UK Driving Licence required
- Aged 18 or over
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Strong IT skills and able to use technology and software systems
- Confident communicator and team player with a friendly, professional manner
- Must be able to be screened to SC level
This role works across locations in Bovington and Southampton. SC Clearance (Government security clearance) is required for this position. You will be asked about this in a telephone interview to ensure you meet the requirements.
