About the Role On behalf of our client we are seeking an experienced and handson Senior Financial Data Analyst for a contract role. This is a sleevesrolledup position suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to deliver tangible results without managing a team or holding a leadership role. The successful candidate will report directly to the Group Finance Director and will play a key role in establishing the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. Key Responsibilities FP&A Capability Development: Establish and build the FP&A function for the client within a lean and fastmoving business. Work closely with senior leadership particularly the Group Finance Director to implement financial planning forecasting and analysis processes. Data Architecture & Governance: Collaborate with external data specialists to design and implement data architecture and governance solutions. Ensure reporting processes are streamlined and support the business s performance improvement goals. Key Metrics Management: Analyse data to identify and track critical business metrics. Provide insights and recommendations that support senior leadership in making key business decisions. Handson Role: This is a practical sleevesrolledup role where the candidate will be directly involved in the execution of tasks without the support of a team. The successful candidate must be selfsufficient taking ownership of their work from start to finish. Senior Stakeholder Engagement: Work with senior stakeholders including the Group Finance Director to deliver financial insights that drive decisionmaking.
