Essential skills include excellent attention to detail, proficiency in finance and CRM systems, and advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including detailed commentary and ad hoc financial reports and analysis.
- Collaborate with budget holders to review financial performance, agree on budgets, and conduct regular forecasts to support financial planning.
- Support effective decision-making by developing financial models and conducting comprehensive analysis.
- Assist the Head of Finance in generating long-term financial strategies through detailed financial analysis.
- Manage automated reporting systems and extract key insights from various database sources to inform management and operational strategies.
- Liaise with colleagues across departments to ensure financial understanding and ownership, fostering a culture of financial awareness.
- Identify opportunities to streamline procedures, improve reporting accuracy, and develop relevant KPIs for performance monitoring.
- Support the preparation of financial papers and reports for the Senior Management Team, Audit Committee, Board of Trustees, and other committees.
