We are looking for an experienced Lead New Product Industrialisation Engineer to drive the transition of new product designs from concept through to full-scale manufacturing. This role sits at the intersection of R&D and manufacturing, ensuring products are designed and launched with efficient, scalable production processes. You will lead the industrialisation phase of product development, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver successful product launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the industrialisation phase, managing the transfer of products from design to production.
- Work with engineering teams to ensure designs are optimised for manufacturability and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, quality, and sourcing.
- Develop, document, and validate manufacturing processes to meet quality and performance requirements.
- Lead the execution of new product launches into production.
- Provide technical expertise on manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in manufacturing processes.
- Resolve technical challenges and manage dependencies across product development.
- Maintain clear and accurate project and technical documentation.
- Ensure manufacturing and supply chain considerations are integrated throughout the development process.

- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and product development.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.

Requirements
- HNC/HND or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline (desirable).
- Experience working in product development, manufacturing, or industrialisation environments.
- Knowledge of engineering change management processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with CAD tools and PDM systems such as SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Inventor, Teamcenter, or similar is beneficial.
