The role You will carry out first fix and second fix electrical installation, testing and inspection across a mix of new build, refurbishment and maintenance projects. Day to day responsibilities include: • Installing cable management systems including conduit, trunking and cable tray to specification
• Routing, supporting, labelling and terminating cables correctly throughout
• Connecting accessories, luminaires, distribution boards and control gear
• Carrying out initial verification and periodic inspection and testing in line with BS 7671
• Completing electrical installation certificates, minor works certificates and EICRs accurately
• Coordinating with other trades on site and reporting progress to your supervisor
• Following all relevant safe systems of work, method statements and risk assessments
What we are looking for • A Level 3 electrical installation qualification such as City and Guilds 2357, 2360 or equivalent
• 18th Edition (BS 7671) qualification
• JIB Gold Card or equivalent approved electrician status
• Inspection and testing qualification (City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent)
• Proven first and second fix experience in commercial or residential settings
• Ability to read and work from drawings and specifications independently
• A CSCS or JIB ECS card for site access
