A great opportunity for a skilled Carpenter to join a busy, site based team delivering high quality carpentry and joinery work across residential, commercial, and fit out projects throughout Manchester and the wider Greater Manchester area. The role You will carry out the full range of first and second fix carpentry, working as a key member of a multi trade team and taking real pride in the quality of your output at every stage of a project. First and second fix work including stud partitioning, door lining installation, skirting, architrave, and structural timber work Fitting doors, door frames, and door furniture to a high standard, hung level, square, and fully functional Installing kitchen units, wardrobes, and bespoke or manufactured joinery items to specification Floor installation across hardwood, engineered, and laminate products, including subfloor preparation Timber repairs and remedial carpentry on refurbishment projects Reading and working from construction drawings, cut lists, and architectural plans Contributing to a safe, well organised site environment and supporting programme progress What we are looking for A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands on carpentry experience in a professional setting NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Carpentry and Joinery, or equivalent City and Guilds or apprenticeship qualification Valid CSCS Blue Skilled Worker card (or Gold equivalent), as a firm site access requirement Confident use of hand tools and power tools including mitre saws, circular saws, routers, and nail guns Sound knowledge of UK building regulations as they apply to carpentry and joinery Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently and within a multi trade team Right to work in the United Kingdom
Desirable but not essential :
