Job Overview
For three decades, our client has delivered the highest quality, efficiency, and reliability in plumbing, HVAC, and electrical home services. They take immense pride in their exceptional customer experience team and loyal customer base. A commitment to the highest level of service and teamwork fuels their continuous growth. To ensure unparalleled support, their team members are available around the clock to assist customers.
We’re looking for a talented Video Editor to join our client’s team — someone who’s more of a storyteller than a trend‑chaser. This role is perfect for a creative professional who’s passionate about crafting engaging, brand‑driven videos that inform, inspire, and elevate.
The ideal candidate is strongest in dynamic video editing, with solid experience in graphic design, motion graphics, and photography. You value quality over quantity, have a keen eye for storytelling, pacing, and brand tone, and can transform real footage into cohesive, compelling narratives. Experience collaborating with companies or brands (rather than primarily producing influencer‑style content) is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Edit a variety of videos — service calls, maintenance, and installations in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, customer testimonials, TikTok clips, podcasts, short‑form videos, b‑roll, long‑form documentary‑style videos, “ride‑along” with teammates, behind‑the‑scenes clips
- Organize and manage raw footage, add transitions, captions, music, color grade, and effects to create polished final products
- Post videos when needed across social media platforms and assist with writing captions and selecting hashtags to maximize reach
- Provide creative ideas and stay up-to-date with social media trends to keep content fresh and engaging
- Track video performance metrics when needed and provide insights to help improve future content
- Contribute actively in team meetings, daily one‑on‑one video meetings, and collaborate closely with other teammates
- Manage and keep up with the content calendar to ensure timely delivery of all video content
- Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and align with brand guidelines
Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies
- Minimum 5 years of video editing experience
- Proficiency and expertise with Adobe Premiere Pro
- Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for video content
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and participation in team meetings
- Ability to work independently, manage time well, and meet deadlines
- Basic graphic design or motion graphics skills are a plus. (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
- Excellent organizational skills for managing footage, multiple projects, and content calendars
- Comfort with data tools like Google Sheets for light reporting and analysis
