Job Title: Remote Bidding & Business Development Executive (100% Work From Home)

Location: Remote in Latin America. Ideally Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, or Brazil.

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $2,000 – 3,500 USD/month depending on experience paid via direct transfer

Schedule: Monday to Friday. Ideally 7:00am – 4:00pm (UTC-3), but generally very flexible on timings.

Job Overview

Our client is an award winning specialist lighting design consultancy with teams and projects across the Middle East, Latin America, the United States, and Europe. They are architects, interior designers, and electrical engineers who share a precise and human approach to light. They design with cultural awareness, technical rigor, and commercial clarity.

You will lead the end to end proposal process and drive the pipeline with their clients. This is a visible role that works directly with company Principals and senior designers. You will translate RFPs into clear proposals, keep their CRM truthful and current, and nurture relationships with the people who select specialist lighting consultants. You will be independent, proactive, a self-starter and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

  • Bidding
    • Receive and register RFPs, manage NDAs, and file tender documents in the correct location.
    • Extract scope, deliverables, schedules, and submission rules from RFPs. Build accurate costing sheets. Review with Principals.
    • Produce compliant proposals using company templates. Complete schedules and forms required by the client.
    • Submit on time and confirm receipt. Log version history, assumptions, and exclusions.
    • Manage clarifications and addenda. Track LAFO and BAFO stages with Principals.
    • Amend and reissue proposals. Maintain accurate status in Zoho CRM.
  • Business Development
    • Map decision makers across architects, interior designers, MEP consultants, developers, and owners.
    • Warm existing accounts. Create first meetings with new accounts through thoughtful outreach.
    • Prepare client specific credentials and short decks with the marketing team.
    • Request feedback on a quarterly cadence. Capture client intelligence and market signals in CRM.
  • Reporting and Rhythm
    • Fortnightly report to Principals. Include top ten hot pursuits, pipeline volume and value, win and shortlist rates, and key risks.
    • Maintain a clean CRM. Every opportunity has stage, next action, expected value, and close date. No silent records.

Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies

  • Experience in proposals or work winning in an architecture, engineering, or design consultancy. Lighting or MEP exposure is a plus.
  • Mastery of spoken and written English and Spanish.
  • Strong document control habits. You never miss a submission rule.
  • Financial literacy. You can translate scope into fees with clear assumptions.
  • Initiative and follow through in a remote setting. You plan, you communicate, you deliver without hand holding.
  • Tools: Zoho CRM or similar, Excel and Google Sheets, PowerPoint or Google Slides, SharePoint or similar file systems.

How They Measure Success

  • On time compliant submission rate.
  • Shortlist rate and win rate.
  • Cycle time from RFP receipt to proposal issuance.
  • CRM hygiene score. No stale stages.
  • Quality of client feedback and meeting creation from outreach.

Work Setup

  • You will collaborate in Gulf Standard Time core windows when needed for design reviews or submissions.
  • Occasional after hours work may be needed for deadlines.

Legal and Compliance

  • Confidentiality. All RFPs, pricing, and client data are confidential.
  • Data protection. Use only company approved systems. Enable multi factor authentication. No personal cloud for client files.
  • Non solicitation. You agree not to solicit clients or employees for a limited period after employment ends.
  • Work authorization. You must maintain the legal right to work in your country of residence.

Growth

  • This role can grow into Bidding Manager within six to twelve months based on ownership of the function and results.
