Remote Administrative & Accounting Assistant (100% Work From Home)
Location: Remote from Latin America
Position Type: Full-time
Salary: $1,800 β 2,000 USD/month depending on experience paid via direct deposit or PayPal
Schedule: Monday to Friday, business hours Pacific Time
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative & Accounting Assistant to support daily financial operations and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, proficient with QuickBooks, Excel, and other financial tools, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a virtual environment. You will work closely with a CPA and a bookkeeper to support accurate financial processes and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable
- Manage accounts payable
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Handle insurance billing
- Provide virtual administrative support (emails, scheduling, documentation, data entry)
- Maintain accurate financial and administrative records
- Assist with financial reporting as directed by the CPA or bookkeeper
- Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and team members
- Collaborate with the CPA and bookkeeper to ensure proper financial documentation and compliance
Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (QB), Excel, and other financial software
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a virtual setting
- Reliable, responsible, and deadline-driven
- Must have reliable internet and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with insurance billing
- Previous virtual assistant or administrative support experience
- Familiarity with additional financial tools or CRM systems
