About the Job
Working closely with Partners and senior leadership, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties...
- Lead the delivery of complex VAT advisory projects across a diverse client portfolio
- Provide expert advice on a broad range of VAT matters and specialist technical assignments
- Lead VAT due diligence engagements and transaction-related projects
- Take ownership of key client relationships, ensuring an exceptional level of service
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and generate new business
- Work collaboratively with Partners, Directors and colleagues across tax, audit and advisory teams
- Support the continued growth and development of the VAT practice across the region
- Lead, mentor and develop junior VAT professionals within the team
- Contribute to networking, thought leadership and wider market-facing initiatives
Previous Experience
- Previous experience operating at Associate Director, Senior Manager or equivalent level within VAT Advisory
- Strong technical VAT expertise gained within professional practice
- Experience managing complex advisory projects and client portfolios
- Proven track record of business development and generating new fee opportunities
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to build long-term client relationships
- Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
