Tax Director (Mixed)

• Senior mixed-tax role with approximately 70% Personal Tax and 30% Corporate Tax

About the Job

Working closely with the firm’s partners and senior tax professionals, the Tax Director will take responsibility for a broad portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients and complete the following duties:

• Manage a varied portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients.
• Take responsibility for a workload split of approximately 70% Personal Tax and 30% Corporate Tax.
• Provide technically strong advice across a broad range of mixed-tax matters.
• Manage and review complex personal tax work.
• Advise owner-managed businesses, shareholders and individuals on matters spanning personal and corporate taxation.
• Support clients with complex tax advisory and planning projects.
• Act as a trusted senior point of contact for key clients.
• Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships.
• Work closely with partners and other senior members of the tax team.
• Gain exposure to a strong media and entertainment client base.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional tax and advisory services to clients.
• Support the continued development and growth of the tax practice.
• Review work completed by junior and more experienced members of the team.
• Coach, support and develop junior tax professionals.
• Maintain high standards of technical quality and client service.
• Contribute commercially to the wider tax practice and support business development initiatives.

Previous Experience

• Substantial mixed-tax experience within an accountancy or tax advisory practice.
• Currently operating at Senior Manager or Director level, or an experienced Senior Manager ready to progress.
• Experience managing complex personal and corporate tax client portfolios.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional tax and advisory services to clients.
• Support the continued development and growth of the tax practice.
• Review work completed by junior and more experienced members of the team.
