About the Company:

Our client is a leading business based in the Newry area, offering an opportunity that combines strategic involvement with hands-on leadership. This role would suit an experienced and ambitious finance professional looking to take the next step in their career, working closely with and reporting directly to the CFO.

About the job:

  • Lead the production of management accounts, reporting packs, and financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making
  • Review weekly and monthly P&L performance, identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Deliver detailed analysis across labour, margins, waste, overheads, and operational performance
  • Manage balance sheet, cash flow, and working capital, ensuring strong financial control and reporting accuracy
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, providing challenge and insight to support delivery against targets
  • Support capital investment projects through robust financial analysis and business case preparation
  • Maintain strong financial controls, compliance, and group reporting standards
  • Lead and develop the finance team, driving high standards and continuous improvement across finance processes and reporting.

About you:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
  • Proven financial leadership experience with strong reporting expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams while managing complex stakeholder relationships.
