HireIQ are delighted to be partnering with a long-established Northern Ireland Practice to recruit a Qualified Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant, who's ready to take the next step in their career, to join a well-established finance team.
About the role
- Preparation and review of statutory accounts for a range of clients
- Completion of year-end accounts under FRS 102 and UK GAAP
- Supporting audit engagements from planning through to completion (where applicable)
- Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
- Reviewing financial statements and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Identifying opportunities to provide additional value-added services to clients
- Assisting with ad hoc advisory and consultancy assignments
About you
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA
- Previous experience within a practice environment
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
